Three days into the Easter Adventure and no one on the global top leaderboard is at 500 000 points, or anywhere close. The top person is 18 920, which I will admit is possible (just an insane amount of playing with a ton of tcash).
Is Playrix finally cracking down? Have our constant reports paid off? If so, @BKNBLK13 will be glad all her spamming of support will have paid off (and others have been too, I'm sure, I just remember her).
all interesting. love idea of marketbox rewards - I would love as reward in any event or game reward form such as golden balloon, in mine prize caves, anytime!

It's such a valuable reward that I sincerely wonder if they'll ever consider it...even if it's as rare as a barn upgrade coupon, I'd take it.
A City Market Box costs T30. Three barn building materials have a retail value of T36. One would think they might have thought about CMBs as a reward. However, too many CMBs can/will ruin the town play for many a player who wants the challenges of city management. Other players may say "the more, the merrier" to the point where little, if any, problem solving is required.
But the bottom line to Playrix is perhaps the deterrence of proliferating the number of players with so many CMBs that they spend less Ts on Al the Algorithm's orneriness or worse—by negating the rarities of goods and produce. Hence, the recent 50% increase in cost of CMBs. (That's my reasoning and if you don't like it I have others.)
I think the price increase for the market boxes could have been to discourage people from buying lots of them, or it could have been they just saw it as more revenue. If players were buying more of them than the devs expected, they figure they must have undervalued them and could get away with raising the price. I always did wonder why there seemed to be no limit on those.
I did buy a bunch more when I read they were going up, but I stopped when I thought the market scroll was about as long as I wanted to deal with.
Once I grokked Piggy, she's my go-to for tcash, I never buy it any other way. Back when we first got her, I worked hard to open her and I usually spent 60-100 right away on boxes, back when they were 20. During one of the early Vernes, I opened Piggy 12 times and this got me to 140 boxes RIGHT before they bumped the price. (I also got lucky and had enough Play Points to buy 2 of the $15.99 bundles RIGHT before Playrix pulled out if that! I apparently have impeccable timing, who knew?) Yeah, the scrolling is a pain sometimes, my arm really hurts during Verne from the repetative motion, but its so worth it. Calling again for them to fix the market and shorten the scroll length by causing empty boxes to slide over to the right end of the line so the full ones bunch up to the left. (You watching, P?)

I keep hoping that Playrix allows Windows to fully sync with the rest of the clan so that I can use my Microsoft points for tcash bundles for my level 50-something town. Other times I would rather Microsoft Rewards would allow me to get an Amazon gift card with my points so I can get the tcash for my level 100-something town!!! I would far rather have the extra tcash in City on a Hill (my level 108 town), but it would be nice to have Light of the World as a "baby town" to feed goods and babysit my co-op so I can visit friends every once in a while.
