IF Playrix ever lets Windows into the iOS/Android/Kindle/Mac party, I will have a level 50 something town to use as a baby town of sorts.
Are there many benefits to a baby town, now that hopping is deader than a dead thing that's dead?
The only one I can really think of that would appeal to me is to have my baby town baby-sit my main co-op so that during RoC week my co-op and I can move to a Wooden League co-op and have an easier time of it.
Baby town assists in completing Co op chats requests tasks during Verne. It can also creates clovers by generating helps request if it does not have a lot of friends. It can also be a dump site when you have too much of a good thing and really have no barn space eg 90 papers, 100 bacons, 60 caramels.
Some people use the baby town solely to feed the main town, others will grow the baby town and not enslaved it. It is all about game style.
The baby town can also act as a figurehead leader for the Co op so that when crazy hackers runs amok, baby town is the first line of defence. (reference, somewhere in 2020 where TS Family was giving out the advice of changing leadership to baby town instead of main.
Baby town has easier events when you don't want to play extreme GREAT Flight or collect 95 paints for verne. Even regatta is easy at level 19.
Disclaimer : I don't have a baby town since I don't even have much time for my own town sometimes.

That sounds pretty useful, although can someone explain a little more how it benefits you to make your baby town the leader of your co-op?

The original idea was to protect the co-op in case the older, once-Leader town was invaded by a Godzilla-behaving gremlin. (It happened to me and it can happen to you.)

Recommendation: Display only your co-op code and keep your town code(s) private to protect your work against intruders. (Did I mention safeguarding your investments in Time and money?)
Recomendación: muestre solo su código cooperativo y mantenga los códigos de su ciudad en privado para proteger su trabajo contra intrusos. (¿Mencioné salvaguardar sus inversiones en tiempo y dinero?)
@Mic MillerDon't ask again who started this thread...you are feeding us.....

Thanks Mic, I didn't realize "they" could hack using my friend code...
An advantage of the baby town I just thought of: If you are the leader, you can make baby the leader if you want to leave and wander around in other co-ops (assuming you are not RoCing). When you get back, you can be made the leader again. This mean leaders would be free to come and get the rest of my co-op's freaking GPG tcash!
