It is just a few days before Christmas! What is Christmas like at your house? Celebrating will be so different, staying home, no guests. But I am still baking cookies for the Kids...amazing how it is the simple things that really make them happy. This year has been difficult on everyone and we have all made a lot of sacrifices, missed memorable moments and cherish those we didn’t. My corner, where I spend my brief alone time in the mornings, the fireplace with stockings hung.
So, what is Christmas like at your house this week?

It'll be a warm summers day in the land of Oz for our Christmas day. We'll be roasting lamb, fresh veggies from the garden, and making meringues with cream - two different colours, one will be red and one will be green.
@cemblack that sounds great! Today I will be making chocolate pies and fruit salad. Usually, on Christmas Eve, everyone comes over, we have breakfast for dinner, then open our new Christmas pajamas! But....not this year. No gathering together today and very limited tomorrow (eat and run) Y’all stay safe!
We will also be among ourselves at Christmas, like many others. Before dinner we will hand out the presents. Then we will have a traditional turkey from the oven, without stuffing, but very classic with potato dumplings and red cabbage. In addition, I conjure up a delicious cream sauce and, if we can make it , there is a mousse for dessert. We look forward to it every year! Yummie!
