I have just started watching The Haunting of Bly Manor. So far it looks interesting
I wish they would bring The Tudors back. I loved that series
I loved the original Swedish Wallander. But can't remember where I watched it I could definitely watch them again.
So anyone watched or watching something they can recommend? Doesn't have to be Netflix
ETA My post could be a competition. How many times did I use a word with watch in it? And would it include me using watch in what I am writing right now?
My husband and I both watched these and liked them a lot:
Smart: The Queen's Gambit (Netflix) - loved this Cute but smart: Upload (Amazon Prime) Suspense: The Undoing (HBO) SciFi: Raised by Wolves (HBO), Tha Handmaid's Tale (Netflix) Fantasy: The Umbrella Academy (Netflix) Feel good/fun reality: The Great British Baking Show (Netflix), Queer Eye (Netflix) Action: Jack Ryan (Amazon Prime) Comedy: Space Force (Netflix) and The Office- rewatched it from the beginning- (Netflix) Crime: Unsolved Mysteries (Netflix) Documentary: The Social Dilemma (Netflix, I think)
I also really like Outlander, although fair warning there are some intense scenes (!), but my husband was not interested.
Downton Falls, BKNBLK13, Chorilandia and Vicki Thinks this post is Awesome
And apparently its an old movie, but new to me....Sinister with Ethan Hawke is a crazy, scary movie. He plays a writer chasing a dream to write a famous crime novel....and the lie he told his wife and the crazy predicament he placed his family into blew my mind! Absolutely blew my mind!
I enjoyed Reign and I watch Outlander. Mostly watch what Hubbs watches and he doesn’t watch either. Our 2 adult space invaders (meaning they live with us), have Appletv, Netflix and several others. I have yet to figure it out. Give me my cable!! We watch a lot of Discovery, Sci Fi, TCM and old westerns!
@Vicki I've seen Sinister recently (new to me too) and WOW! In a word creepy AND mind blowing; I was not expecting that. And those old movies he was watching?
Hubby has Amazon Prime so we've watched several X-Men movies, Queen of The Dammed, the Ninth Gate and idk what else. We'd like to watch Hannibal Rising but he would have to buy it and I want a physical copy of it to add to the collection of dvds.
I have never seen any movie or tv show on Netflix' don't have it.
Love your icons, michelle! Esp the knife and fork ....yes, the reels of film he found were very disturbing. I had to look away for some. But all in all, a good scary movie. Some people like Sinister 2 better but i prefer the first one.
