Hubbs and I are now a 2 person team and this will be the first ROC that we have done with just us. Should prove interesting as Hubbs is very competitive.

This should be about all. Order of the 2nd person's ingot prizes (5th n 6th task) may/ maybe not be accurate as person was not around when gift was awarded but received pop up later.

This being my first RoC is it in anyway advantageous to delay start until later in the week to hopefully get into a less competitive race?
We have a selection of tasks to ‘qualify’ for the race. Do all 3 of us have to complete one? And then does the first completed task get replaced? (One is collect 3 shrimp, one player, level 28 doesn’t get have the port and will then only get fructus island).
Once the race tasks begin do we do tasks individually or can we all help, say on a huge crop task?
Wish I’d have thought of these questions prior to committing!
@Ruth, you can delayed start. But it is not easy unless you don't touch the game. Once a task is completed, you get entered into the race. Delay start is good. Because ROC is a marathon. You have to race till the last minute. But as to whether or not you have get better races by delaying Well that depends on Luck.
Tasks can be done individually or everybody pooled in. Eg: 3 HOL, mine 20 ores task. It will be better to assigned. But when you have 110 helicopters task or 600 peanuts tasks everybody should chipped in.
Once a task is completed, 1 minute later a new task will appear. Just beware of lag. System takes a minute or 2 to update especially if all Co op members are doing the same tasks. Just don't panic and wait or visit neighbour till it refreshed to the correct amount.
Large variation in Co op members levels are never ideal for a Co op whether it is the weekly regatta or the RoC

Thanks Callie, does that mean we can pool the qualifying tasks also? 9 trains to be sent seems a huge task just to qualify even if I does give you 15 keys!
@Ruth, Yes. You can pool all tasks. Right now after 3 hours of racing, me and my teammate has decided we do all 50-50 split for all tasks unless 1 plane. Just see whose plane is coming earlier. We are trying not to waste resources. There will be many more trains, planes, helicopters, HOL and mining to be done.
Is it me or have some things become more difficult in ROC as well as in Prof etc.?
Meaning: we (2 persons, both racing) got as second gift-task to collect 200 teaplants within 12 hours.... Little before that 200 cottonplants. Okay, that can be done, but 200 teaplants with growing time of 9 hours?? While filling our usually planes and trains as well? We would have stand a chance if we both would have made the 2 appropriate boosters, but..... Not gonna do that for probably 2 glass again (first reward).

They made the last Prof Experiments better in the last one after they gave us a really ridiculously hard set of tasks with low points for it previously. Likewise they seem to have made this RoC better than the previous one. Giving 12hrs instead of 8 and making the quantities less. Again the previous RoC was really bad.
It does appear that Playrix are trying to balance it now. We will have to wait and see how it goes over the next couple of races and Experiments. Playrix are making so many changes recently, that it's hard to know what to expect.
But yes both of these things have been made more difficult, compared to when they were first introduced. I do not think we can expect it to go back to how it was originally. Although they seemed to realize they took it too far and have reined it back in.

I find the difficulty similar to last month despite in different league. The main difference between leagues might be your competitors. Gold league people are more competitive. I did not observe the change in tasks points and required amount since they do not make much difference to me.
Hello I’ve been away from the game for some time so this is my first race (due to small things like life and a pandemic!). I’m in a coop on my own so when the tasks come up, do they only go away if I complete them? I’m not sure I have the patience to grow another 24 rubber trees haha! Any advice will be gratefully accepted. Thanks P.S Thank you for starting a new forum. It’s super helpful knowing there is somewhere to turn with question
@Flowerpower, the task does not go away until it is completed. But then you have a today of 6 days to complete the task now. As of now, 5 days left. You can just grow a few everyday if you are not looking to win the top 3 and just want to enjoy the ROC. Last month ROC, I took my own sweet time to make some gazillion corn dogs.
So far I have not come across 2 crops tasks at once. 3 factories tasks appearing together yes. Or 2 factory tasks from the same factory appearing together is also possible.

One exception: a gift-task goes away when it is not done in time.
We let our 200 teaplants within 12 hours expire.... (then were unpleasantly surprised by the next task on that place: 200 teaplants ). ( so good example: the first one dissappeared after 12 hours, the next won’t until we have finished it or ROC is over....)

I do not think the gift task goes away @E. Just the gift attached to it expires.
