Same here... I had a group with four a five players and we were working together nicely, but then one after another just faded from the game. They were between lv 50 and 90. Quite a pity ...
I have 9 restricted players in my co-op, 8 of whom are under level 80, we havent seen any of them for 5 months. I feel bad kicking them, they might come back and were good players. I almost quit at level 80 in despair because I didnt know about only starting 1 CB or enclosure at a time and boosting trains. Instead, I searched the old forum and asked questions and busted thru that wall, now Im level 99.5 and enjoying myself. Its curious that 80 is a commom hurdle.
yeah yeah, barn never big enough to hold all the good stuff and with the old zoo in place you had to store extra exclusive zoo building materials...frustration could easily build up in ya.
but just a mere 3.5 years later, guess what? barn still to small to hold all the good stuff
I feel like the 70’s and 80’s were the roughest because of a combination of things. The jump in cost for community buildings and factories skyrocketed (both in gold and materials) and the fact that many CB’s and Factories unlocked between those levels anyway didn’t help either. The level range gave a solid taste of redundancy since most around these levels have been playing atleast 6 months to a year. Around these levels you also feel more of a barn storage cramp because Of the frequency of having unlocked so many factories. I feel like the cramp went away in my 90’s; the experiments + free barn storage upgrades helped though. I feel like these levels were a bit tedious.. I got through it and I don’t know if anyone feels the same but this is just my opinion from experience.
At the beginning of regattas, I thought I would start a co-op and see who (and what) showed up. Soon I had quite the mix of the usual (and some unusual) suspects. We ranged in levels from 59 to over 100. Aside from a few I lost track of and the one troll I kicked out, we have continued to play TS. I honestly thought that after reaching L100 and building First Park with its Fountain of Fame centerpiece. I was pretty much played out. The drama queens in my co-op went off to find "room on the broom," others left due to RL issues or to lead their own successful co-ops when I decided to go solo. All but one of my GameCenter friends from the early days are still playing.
To say TS is addictive is an oversimplified definition to the trained human behaviorist. Playing on a Joe Walsh LP title, "What was once playtime is now lifestyle." One's biological clock will sync to this game (as well as others) after years of daily play — adding to the plethora of humanware phenomena I have observed.
Today I call my continued play "research" and wonder how a video-based program series can be applied towards institutionalizing the problem-solving/design methodology K-12 education that focuses on operantly conditioning the individual's bicameral structure into a wholistic, synergistic thinking and environmentally balanced (and harmonious) condition capable of taking the next evolutionary steps of self-aware sentient life.
Such wondering is allowed during an election year when the only question is whose bologna (or baloney) to vote for?

I found the 60's and 70's levels to be rough. Not enough building materials or coins to do everything. Add to it they introduced the tool factory when I had the Lighthouse built but not enough materials to complete. In other words as I was waiting on the last few materials needed, in came the tool factory. Then I had to wait for it to get built and start exchanging materials for tools to finish the lighthouse. That one took me well over a week to finish, maybe even closer to 10 days.
I did try to do community buildings when I hit the level but it took longer after the tool factory. I held off on some of the factories and used the dealer to get the goods when they were needed. I dumped heli orders that requested them. I also held off on some of the houses because of the coin required. I needed the coins for other things. Eventually finished all of them as well.
I think not having the zoo to work on during this helped. I can't imagine if I would have been trying to do it at the same time, it was rough enough without it!
Yes the game completely changes after you've built every thing not in a bad way but you start to focus on upgrading your factories and maybe even visit your zoo
I actually enjoy the game more now I'm not grinding for coins and exp.

Wow. That's the first time in at least a decade I put a sentence which is a whole paragraph long in a translator. Still didn't get it. ;p And was too lazy then to research the contents of "Problemlösungs- / Entwurfsmethode K-12-Bildung" further, lol.
Hope your decision for any election will be easier for you!

I hear Google will launch their interplanetary translator service in early 2066, maybe sooner. :^)
I am looking forward to our landslide party this November.

We resolved that by kicking the inactive player out then immediately sending them a coop invite. Of course, somebody needs to have that player on their friend list first.
Carrying a lot of inactive members does mean that you are having to do a lot more tasks for the coop goals during Interseasonal Regattas.
