Seems like everyone is trying to figure out just tasks we will be asked to do for 1000 Tcash! Barn upgrades will be necessary for all the goods it will take for Professor Verne, the Regatta and Cash Splash tasks. So far, the Professor has been easier than expected. We have been waiting for the new ongoing tasks. Trying not to overthink about any of the events. Industrial Boom and Double Rewards are also peeking around the corner
Agree! Who knows. Playrix might pull the helicopter help perk mid event because "there is a glitch" (i.e. OMG we aren't making tons of money and our players are happy) The first being all important and the second being rarely a consideration.
It makes me chuckle wryly every update to read the 'About' section, still advertising Flags.
The in-game letter informing us of upcoming Cash Splash Event was dated 153 days ago on day it appeared.
Therefore the event was planned months in advance. I suspect it was also Beta-Tested as it appeared then disappeared then re-appeared in our events calendar.
I am actually more upset by how ridiculously hard Prof Verne is this time round than by Cash Splash debacle, despite both Baby and I wasting a ton of resources.
I suspect their servers cannot cope with helicopter helps concurrently with Cash Splash, but not convinced as think game would have temporarily "server connection error"ed were that the case.
Played have planned this event, tested it, promoted it. Therefore fear other posters above foreseeing end of TS may be correct. Either way my wallet staying closed for the foreseeable, (self-fullfilling prophesy?)
RoC, then awful PVE then CSE make the following award filched from TS Family page well deserved and merited
This is nuts. Yes, we may as well take advantage of the extra coins, but there is small chance this event returns in the same form, if it returns at all.
I suspect the technical issue that made them pull the plug was that we were never supposed to be getting one coin task after the next. The event was described earlier as having a variety of tasks. The way the quantities got so much bigger and smaller also suggests they were intended for different things. Those weirdly small numbers that showed up for some stages were probably meant for something like animal feed or factory collection, not for more coins.
So, yes, earn lots of coins while we can, but it's probably a good idea to hold off on buying expensive decorations yet, unless you just want them for decorating.

Very well put @JayS although at this stage I am not too worried about Township closing in the too near future. I am also hopeful if this were to be the case, it would stand a good chance of a similar game replacing it by Playrix
Whoever put that picture on Facebook has a very good sense of humour. It's hilarious
@JayS, love that photo, had me chuckling. As for TS closing, I genuinely believe that they are still making too much money ATM to think of closing it, although they may be putting plans in place for another game to equal or surpass this revenue. I do, however, agree with those who have noticed, as we all have, that new decs have been few & far between. I don’t know if they’ve had the same success with their other games, perhaps others who play them will know better than me.
This game is one of their biggest, though it may be more costly to develop and support than the match 3 style games, even with the e tra art work. Still, I don’t think it’s in any danger of Playrix pulling the plug on it.
