I’m glad to see the UK has exerted some regulatory muscle with respect to these disastrous ads. I see them all the time in other games I play (I’m in US) and it really paints Playrix, and any company who engages in this sort of misleading behavior, quite poorly. Playrix putting the mini-games into the helicopter feature is no doubt a CYA reaction, and the article reads as if they appear a few times and then they are gone for good. It is really a bit amusing how essentially the whole world sees their antics, and they don’t care. They simply do whatever is legally required to allow those ads to perpetuate, knowing they are tricking people into playing their games. I find that angle of this whole thing rather fascinating.
