How to....

Many moons ago I came across an immensely helpful post on how to download photos and include things from the internet explaining which icons did what in a similar bar to the one above in the writing box on another website. Most of which I’ve now forgotten. Some of us of a certain age aren’t too good at including as much as we’d like to. Although I’ve managed to upload a few pics it takes me ages to do it and sometimes it doesn’t work as I’ve done something daft! 
It would be marvellous if one of you boffins/ IT specialists could do a guide to how to do stuff. I know it would take ages but some of us with no boffins at home would be mighty grateful

I am not a IT specialist but these steps might be helpful:

It might Rocky if when I pressed the select files blue button it took me to select action section but I just get a drop down menu for photos/video
