Has anyone ever won the mystery prize on the prize wheel? I went for it hard and spun the last two simply to see if prizes got better as my points got higher. When i got to spin the wheel that required over 10K points, i won coins. The wheel for over 11k points, i won a measley dealer coupon. So disappointing. Im wondering if the mystery prize is fake.
I've seen the wheel skip too. My wheel was just about to land on the mystery prize and then the screen jumped to another. It seems like prizes used to get better as we progressed in an event. But this last time they just went downhill. I did win 4 decorations on the beginning though.

Twice the Prize Wheel was going to rest on the T100 slice but jumped to another one. (And I don't mean the one next to it!)
Mine was headed there once, the little needle was more than half way into that section, with just the tip barely hanging on to the peg, when it slammed on the brakes and rocked back to the section before it.
I’m not a fan of the prize wheel either. I prefer the events with the 5 goals with known sets of prizes.

I’ve been curious for a while wanting to understand why people are so keen to get mini-game avatars. I like getting the decorations, but the avatars are a disappointing spin for me. I rarely use any of them, except sometimes for 5 minutes after first getting it, Some of them are pretty cute, but I always get tired of them and end up going back to my FB avatar.
Is it just about collecting, to have one of everything that ever was?

@Mayfield I would rather have the decorations but getting the avatars is cool too, sort of a sense of accomplishment. Some are cute, some?? not so much, Those will stay packed away. I'm using my 1 year cow avatar until I happen to get another cute one. I've never signed in with FB so I would never be able to use that one; Idk even know what it is, I don't thing I've been on FB since before Easter. Or close to it.
It’s not that I think there’s anything wrong about wanting the avatars. Whatever adds fun or interest for players is great. I just keep feeling like I’ve missed something that they don’t thrill me the same way.
The only issue for me is when the same players who like changing their town names all the time also change their avatars, then I have no idea who the player is. They may get dumped from my friend list during a clean up if I don’t recognize one or the other.
I have many friends who, like me, play a side game with the PPs. It can be a communication channel for those who care to use it. I sometimes use a PP on a competitor or to tell my competition group why I do not have a problem with being down in the standings. (Granted, for many players these avatars are worthless, superficial or judged subjectively for aesthetics/design. For others, they are the "prizes of quests.")
@Mic Miller@Mayfield Your different points of view are interesting. And I think both opinions have a lot of truth in them. It gives me pleasure to know how many different opinions there can be on the same subject. Despite the years, you can always learn something new. And this doesn't only apply to the game, does it?
I sometimes change avatars even town names along with the entryway to reflect seasonal changes or events... kinda like matching shoes and purse with outfits for Easter, 4th of July, Fall. I do keep the 1st part of my name stable. For example Joe's Fountainville or Joe's Haunted Valley.
there are many avatars I may never use, but do kind of collect actively, such as stamps or baseball cards or coins, so it is frustrating when I don't get an event and miss even the chance to try for the avatar and event decor. when I don't place high enough to win the avatar... I do intentionally say... oh well... too bad so sad, suck it up buttercup... just a game... and try not to fret it.
I used to care a tad more, until I lost well established farms a couple of times in other games and had to start over. this is kind of like a puzzle that can get de-assembled at any time, so oh well... stuff happens... if I get a decor or avatar - yay, happy dances. if not... oh well...
